The 3rd Somali Orthopedic Association Conference will bring together Somali orthopedic surgeons and other allied Musculoskletal health profesionals for a one-day meeting focused on the theme “Bridging the Gap in Orthopedic Care in Somalia.”
The conference will provide an opportunity to discuss the latest advances in orthopedics, share knowledge and experiences, and explore strategies to strengthen and advance musculoskeletal care in Somalia.

SOA’s Monthly webinar focuses this month on Acetabular Fractures scheduled on 29th January 2025 at 7:30 PM East Africa Time.
The session will be presented by Dr. Abdishakur Mohamud, an Orthopedic and Trauma Surgeon from Royal Hospital and Dr.Hassan Salad Fidow from MST RTE Training and Research Hospital.
The Presenters will cover what you should know about Acetabular fractures including the epidemiology of Acetabular fractures, Classifications, imaging and Management options.
Dr. Mohamed Jama, an Orthopedic and Trauma Surgeon from Baraka Hospital will moderate the session.
This online event is primarily intended for Orthopedic Trauma surgeons but emergency care physicians, radiologists, medical students and all other healthcare providers interested in trauma care are highly welcomed.
