Somali Orthopedic Association is pleased to announce the final call for abstract submissions for its upcoming annual congress, scheduled to take place on 10th July 2025. The deadline for abstract or full paper submissions is 26th June 2025.
This year’s congress will be held under the theme: “Enhancing Orthopedic and Trauma Care Services in Somalia.” This theme reflects our shared commitment to advancing orthopedic practice, surgical safety, and innovation within the unique challenges of resource-limited settings.
SOA warmly invites orthopedic surgeons, researchers and healthcare professionals to submit scientific abstracts for consideration. We welcome original contributions that demonstrate clinical excellence, research insights, or practical strategies aligned with the congress theme.
Topics of interest include but are not limited to: trauma care and surgical innovations, joint reconstruction and arthroplasty, pediatric orthopedics, spine surgery, rehabilitation, and training or capacity-building.
This event will be a vital platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strengthening the future of musculoskeletal care in Somalia.
